Compensation:
This position is designed for technicians who want a strong long-term opportunity with substantial upside.
  • Estimated yearly earnings: $75,000 to $115,000+.

What Makes This a T2 / T3 Role:
As a T2 / T3 HVAC Service Technician, you must be able to:
  • Diagnose and repair a wide range of common residential HVAC issues with limited supervision.
  • Perform maintenance, service, and repairs on residential and light commercial systems.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with customers about system issues and repair recommendations.
  • Identify when a repair issue is larger than a single failed part and escalate appropriately when needed.
  • Present repair and accessory options clearly and ethically.
  • Follow company processes for documentation, communication, collection, and job completion.
  • Continue growing technically, operationally, and professionally toward higher-level performance.

You do not need to be a fully developed T4-level selling technician for this role, but you must already have enough experience to contribute meaningfully in the field and continue growing fast.

Daily Expectations & Workload:
This role requires consistency, discipline, and strong habits.

You must be able to consistently:
  • Run service and maintenance calls efficiently and professionally.
  • Diagnose many common system issues without excessive hand-holding.
  • Complete , notes, potos, estimates, and payment steps correctly.
  • Present recommended repairs and value-add solutions when appropriate.
  • Maintain a professional customer experience on every call.
  • Work within dispatch discipline and job-completion standards.

At Logicool, technicians are expected to help improve service results through stronger execution, clearer option presentation, better documentation, and more complete closeout of each job.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose, service, and repair residential and light commercial HVAC systems.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and identify repair opportunities.
  • Troubleshoot electrical, airflow, refrigerant, drainage, and mechanical issues within your capability level.
  • Communicate clearly with homeowners and business owners about system condition and repair needs.
  • Present repair options in a clear, ethical, and professional way
  • Recommend appropriate accessories, upgrades, and protection items when relevant.
  • Identify replacement opportunities and escalate or hand off appropriately when needed.
  • Complete all required job notes, photos, forms, estimates, and payment steps accurately.
  • Follow Logicool service, safety, communication, and documentation standards.
  • Maintain a clean truck, professional appearance, and organized workflow.
  • Protect the customer experience and contribute to 5-star review generation.

Minimum Requirements:
  • 2+ years of HVAC service experience for T2-level consideration.
  • 3+ years of HVAC service experience for stronger T3-level consideration.
  • EPA Certification.
  • Residential diagnostic and repair experience.
  • Light commercial experience preferred.
  • Strong customer communication skills.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Clean background.
  • Drug-free.
  • Professional appearance and mindset.
